We already knew New York Giant’s wide receiver Victor Cruz kills it in a well-tailored suit, but it turns out he tackles grooming with equal precision. (So much so that he’s just been tapped as a spokesman for Gillette.) Here, Cruz reveals his shave strategy, go-to scent, and the splurge he shares in common with your girlfriend.

The Hair:

"I see a barber every Thursday. It’s almost like a religion for me. His name is Lenny, and he cuts hair locally where I grew up. He’s not even a barber anymore to me, he’s just a longtime friend. If I didn’t see him my whole weekend wouldn’t feel right."

The Face:

"I use a medicated face wash and moisturizer from my dermatologist. If I didn’t use moisturizer I feel like my whole face would crack and bleed."

The Shave:

"I’m one and done, going through it the first time with precision. I just use shaving cream and the Gillette Fusion Proglide Razor. I have a lot of hair on my cheeks, so I make sure that’s all even, then shave down the sides of my neck to make sure everything’s cleaned up."

The Body:

"I’m a bar soap kind of guy. I’ve been using Dove bar soap for as long as I can remember."

The Scent:

"Either Tom Ford or Creed, something that smells nice before I head out."

The Splurge:

"Every three weeks or so I get a manicure and pedicure, and every other week I get a massage. You have to do those little things tokeep your body in shape. In the long run it pays off."

Bonus Tip:

"Carry deodorant on you always. It doesn’t matter if it has a scent as long as it keeps you dry. You don’t always know what you’re going to do when you leave the gym." Cruz’s choice: Gillette Clear Gel.
