There’s lots to covet in Robert Pattinson’s new black and white ad for the Dior Homme fragrance—like smoking in a bathtub with French model Camille Rowe, that convertible beachside ride, his crisp overcoat—but there’s one thing you can actually have: his hair. "It’s a nice, fresh change from the longer grown out looks and barbershop fades we’re seeing everywhere else," says runway stylist Garrett Bryant of De Berardinis Salon in New York City. Here are Bryant’s tips for scoring the slightly-textured close crop:
The Cut: "Have your stylist clean up the sides and back with a number two guard on the clippers, then blend the top with shears, leaving about just an inch and a half of length in front."
The Style: "You don’t want it to look too slick or overstyled. Towel dry hair and work in a simple matte styling paste, like Shu Uemura Kengo Feather Paste. It has good hold but isn’t too heavy and can be refreshed throughout the day."
