While we loved the Zeus-inspired prints in Dolce Gabbana’s Spring 2014 collection, we also thought it fitting that the models looked like they could go toe-to-toe with Heracles. We spoke with legendary hair stylist Guido Palau about how to get the look.
"The inspiration is Greek gods. The models were very tanned and we groomed them to look like they’d fit into Greek mythology—the curls, the hair brushed forward. A lot of the guys had very curly hair so I brought that out—I dampened the hair and put some thickening lotion on it to texturize it, then let it dry naturally. I used spray shine by Redken as well, so it wasn’t too dry looking. It was really just bringing out the natural movement of the hair."
