New York-born casual wear brand Schott, which is busy expanding its international footprint with directional collaborations inspired by its heritage, appointed Nicolas Lognon as its new head of France and export sales in early November. Lognon is highly experienced in the French ready-to-wear market, having previously worked at Kaporal and Tommy Hilfiger France.
Lognon graduated in business management from the Cogefi Institute in 1994, and started his career in 1995 at Chevignon, “a brand with a strong American identity,” where he worked in several positions until he was named head of sales. In December 2005, he joined Tommy Hilfiger, “then known as Hilfiger Denim,” where he spent seven years, overseeing all divisions (womenswear, childrenswear and footwear), and lately as head of wholesale sales.
Boosting the brand’s visibility
At the start of 2013, Lognon joined French denim brand Kaporal as country manager France, Germany, Benelux and Spain, working directly with UK investment fund TowerBrook. In November 2022, he joined Dutch denim brand Garcia as country manager France.
