Tapestry, the parent company of brands Coach, Kate Spade, and Stuart Weitzman, released on Wednesday its "Fiscal Year 2024 Corporate Responsibility" report, highlighting significant progress in sustainability, social impact, and community engagement under its framework, The Fabric of Change.
Notably, Tapestry achieved an 84% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions compared to its FY2021 baseline, successfully meeting its science-based targets. This milestone was driven by investments in renewable energy across the company’s operations.
By brand, Coach extended product life through its Coach (Re)Loved program, giving over 14,400 items a second life, taking back 6,100 units, and repairing 91,000 items globally in FY2024. The reintroduction of the iconic Soho Bag, crafted from repurposed denim, reduced GHG emissions by up to 80% and water use by up to 95%.
