Not All New Yorkers are Soulless: High-End Barber Gives The Homeless Haircuts on His Off-Day

"I need a haircut." We’ve all said it, but we often forget that a monthly clean up is one of the greatest luxuries we have. As we all know, there are so many people across the country, especially in cities, that spend their days and nights without a roof over their heads, let alone a barber’s chair and some pomade. That’s why we’re pleased to hear that NYC-based barber Mark Bustos is doing what he can to help those in need. During the week you can find Bustos at Three Squares Studio, but every Sunday he is around the city giving free haircuts to the homeless. He says he hopes to spread positivity through his philanthropic efforts, constantly spreading his own personal motto "be kind to somebody" on his Instagram. Sure, the haircuts may not be life-changing, but giving back to those less fortunate is never, ever a bad look.
