Going into last night, Cary Fukunaga was known for one thing: The most badass tracking shot in television history. Now, he’s known for that and his hair. More specifically, the braids he was sporting at The 66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. Ladies everywhere seem to be loving the look, and the women over at The Cut even went so far as to create "An Everything Guide to Loving Cary Fukunaga". We’re a little more skeptical. It seems like these braids only kind of work because Cary is rocking a beautifully tailored tudo from Dolce & Gabbana and is, generally speaking, a pretty handsome guy. Take away those two things, and we’re not so sure ladies would be praising his "individuality". If you need any more proof, just look at Riff Raff, who also went with braids, but has a highly debatable "sex icon" status.
