THE HAIR:Â "I have thick hair that gets big in the humidity so I use Leonor Greyl’s bamboo shampoo, which has a built-in conditioner and tamer. I leave it in a few minutes before rinsing and it somehow makes my hair ridiculously manageable. And then I get a haircut about once a month at this salon called Q Hair on Bleecker Street.
**THE SKIN:**I typically use REN Skincare, I love that it’s all-natural and everything feels really fresh. I use their cleansing milk, and then a few days a week I’ll use the Micro Polish cleansing eoliator. That’s my favorite thing, I’m obsessed with it—the aroma and texture is incredible, I’d use it everyday if I could.
THE EYES: I use an eye cream from Lifeline that has embryonic stem cells in it. I was skeptical at first but I’ve been using it for a year and I don’t have any new wrinkles. I have pretty dark circles under my eyes so it helps with that, too.
THE SHAVE: I’m not big on shaving, I probably do it once a week. I am a big fan of Harry’s razors, though. The steel is actually much better than others, it’s not just marketing. I have a really thick beard and when I use a generic razor I can shave once before it’s dead. I’ve been looking for a new shaving cream but I always come back to Kiehl’s, nothing seems to stack up.
THE BODY: I’m very sensitive to smells and not interested in my own scent, but I do prefer natural solutions without chemicals and all that stuff. All my hippy friends have turned me on to Herbal Clear, which I’ve found really works. It’s not an antiperspirant, it’s just mineral salts.
THE FRAGRANCE: For some reason scent is a winter thing for me. But I like Tom Ford Oud Wood.
**THE INDULGENCE: **If I’m in New York on the weekend I’m getting a massage. I also see a holistic healer person who’s technically a chiro and she makes adjustments to my back since I’ve had problems in the past. We do some muscle work and Reiki. She’s helped a lot with posture.
